What do you take in your bag for a year?
30 March 2011
So if you are travelling for a year people have been asking me what do I carry in my bag for a year?
Well to start with there is all the techie gear, laptop, emergency mobile, water proof camera, telephoto DSLR camera, handy small camera, chargers, two external hard drives, travel plugs, digital watch and an iPhone without the phone (which has saved so much money, free maps, internet etc)
Next has to be the sport kit for when I feel the need to go running or swimming.
Then there is the cold weather gear, boots, water proves, good gloves, thermals, hat, and neck buff
Then of course the shorts, shirts and trousers
And not forgetting miscellaneous items, sleeping bag, sewing kit, spork, solar charger, sun hat, sun glasses, pack of cards, sandwich bags, belt with hidden money compartment, snorkel and mask.
And take it from me I have excluded quite a lot just so I can get it all within 20 kilos.
Oh I’ve got a number of socks and boxers, but I thought you would not want to see those.
