Christmas Skiing in Avoriaz
A family Christmas ski trip to Avoriaz in Bandit, with first ski lessons, snowy days and plenty of mountain memories.

How it felt
We packed Bandit and set off for a family Christmas in Avoriaz. The journey took us from Dover across France and into the Alps, with the dogs along for the adventure.
Adam and Katja were first-time skiers, so there was a lot to learn on the slopes. We spent the week exploring the Portes du Soleil, skiing between France and Switzerland, and enjoying time together in the mountains. After two stormy days, the snow turned to powder and the sunshine returned.
Christmas in Avoriaz gave us a special family celebration, and the journey home through Dijon brought one last overnight stop before we returned to England.
