Another day, another bus.
This one was taking us on a 6 hour drive across the border and into Argentina.
As with most of our bus trips, this diary entry is more about the photos we took on the way - and this journey was one of our most spectacular so far. It's not every day you take a bus that takes you through such magnificent scenery.
The border crossing was smooth and easy - it seems as if the Chilean and Argentinian immigration are happy to sit side by side here - not like at the Bolivian border!
We were quite fortunate with our timing too. For the 4 days prior to us going, the border had been closed due to snow. Back in San Pedro, Jody had seen many many trucks and buses queued up just outside the town when she had to dash back to the Bolivian border. They were queued there waiting for the snow to clear so they could go on to Argentina.
Well not much else to say about this - we shall let the pictures do the talking for this entry.View this photo album on Flickr
