Shotover River Canyon - Jetboat

We’d booked the Shotover River Canyon, as we felt this was the more prettiest canyon to be going down. The Jetboat was amazing, only needing 10cm of water and over 500 HP through two engines, and performing 360 degree spin in the water. We got fully prepared with our life jackets and water proofs. We needed the water proofs, after a number of 360 degree spins we got soaked. We powered down the river with only inches from the walls, and skimming over the tops of the pebbles. Although the views from the boat and the jetboat itself was amazing, the ride itself was a bit tame, perhaps we both just bigger thrill seekers.
