We came to Tissa to be close to Yala which is where you go on safari to see leopards.
However it is quite a pretty town and this part of Sri Lanka is much less humid but very hot.
Our guesthouse is lovely and we are paying £5 each a night for our bed and breakfast which is good value.
It is situated right on the edge of the lake in which there are millions of lotus flowers growing.
We went for a walk along the banks and watched as little boats went out to collect the flowers which they sell at temples for people to give as offerings when they go inside.
Apart from this there really isnt much else to say about Tissa, other than it was hot, pretty and clean!
