This is another of those entries which are noteworthy purely for the photos we took on the way. Almost all were taken out of the bus window so please excuse the quality of some of them. Even so, they are still beautiful and we think give a flavour of how it is.
The trip from Puno to the border was again with Bolivia Hop and the road followed the beautiful Lake Titicaca all the way. So we have a very pretty 2 hour drive.
Our guide Alessandro showed us where we could change over the last of our Peruvian Cash (soles) into Bolivian Bolivianos.
The he made sure we all queued in the right place at the border.
daily life by Titicaca
We were stamped out of Peru :-(( walked across no-mans-land into Bolivia. Simple as that.
On the Bolivian side where we were stamped in was a bit more frosty (we hope this is not a taste of things to come) but apart from that it was smooth and hasel free.
Then the bus took us the rest of the way - just 10 minutes and we were in Copacabana.
And what a pretty place this looks to be.
Let's hope it really is as nice as it looks.View this photo album on Flickr
