Back in KL

We kept a low profile as remember the Mercury Hotel are still looking after our suitcases, and we checked back in to the UFO hotel a few doors along so we could save ourselves some money! Liking KL more this time - i think that has a lot to do with the food - especially now we have found the roti in the street restaurants. Its sooo delicious and sooo cheap we love it! Last time we were here we got to hear about the pewter factory which was a way out of the city but this time we were determined to go there. It was very interesting and we got to have a go at pattern making on some mugs. I don’t think they want to employ us though. We spent our last night in The Mercury though as we felt we owed it to them but we were kept awake most of the night by people talking loudly in the corridors. Then around 4am security were trying to evict a girl in a room opposite us. This is supposed to be a really nice hotel too! So, another breakfast of roti (Jody especially is going to miss that) and we caught the coach back to Singapore. No hiccups this time thank goodness, couple more stamps in our passports, nice smooth border crossing and we were on our way.
