Ummm!
Not much to say about this place really.
It's nickname is Little England and yes it does look a little English with the park and the post office and the houses.
And the weather!!
it is freezing here. Jody actually bought a fleece in the town.
It is grey, it is raining - why did we come here???
Ok so only 2 nights here.
The Post Office
We are only 30kn up the road from Ella and it couldn't be more different. It also took us 6 hours to get here.
We were met by a man at the train station who said he had a room if we wanted it, so being polite we went to have a look. It turned out to be a little shanty shack with a tin roof and a damp smell.
After doing our best to say no way Jose politely, we found our own accommodation but everything is quite pricey here and we are not sure why.
Oh well - we have seen the alternative SRi Lanka now.
What time is that train out of here???
