Fiji stop over

Time is ticking by, some more research, this time finding out how we can get from New Zealand to Fiji in February 2011. This sounds like a time to stop and spend some time relaxing, as after our long trip across Canada and travelling around New Zealand, this will give us a well earned rest. So how do we get to Fiji on a small budget, we’re planning about £1,000 per month each, and with a stay of, say 2 weeks, that means the budget is going to be down to £500 each. So flying, if we are going with the Great Escapade, we may be able to have a bolt on to Fiji, need to find out if this is possible? We found some direct flights using ebookers.com for about £371, which is a little out of our budget, so still some work to do on the flights front. We have come across a good source for accommodation, called Fiji Accomodation, which has a huge range of information on the island, staring from F$50, which is about £15 a night, now we are talking....! We’ve also been reading other people blogs who have been to Fiji, well they are in Fiji right now....! they are providing a good source of information, like island hopping, scuba diving (Bryan is trying to get Jody to take her Padi before we go, as Bryan knows she will want to go diving when we reach the clear waters of Fiji).
